Computational Aerodynamics

Introduction

The goal of this project was to analyze the different numerical methods to solve quasi one-dimensional Euler equations describing compressible flow through a varying area duct assuming small changes in cross-sectional area. Refer to the report for a thorough evaluation of the Scalar dissipation, Steger-Warming and Modified Corrected Steger-Warming. The state vector is updated with either Euler Explicit or Runge-Kutta.
